About Dream House

Rules you should know.

This event is a fun way for the whole family to spend a day together and to raise money for a worthy cause. To improve the fun and safety for everyone, there are a few important rules that you need to know before you arrive at the event.

  • A minimum donation of $35 is required for each rider.
The Dream House for Medically Fragile Children is committed to saving medically fragile children from an institutional existence or abusive situations, and to providing a therapeutic, family-centered home where they can live and grow. Your donation will be used to support the operation of the home. Ask your friends and neighbors for a donation to help the children. Registered riders will have access to the woods trails and childrens' beginner track, as well as free coffee, juice and pastries in the morning and free lunch for all registered riders. You can call 1-770-923-1685 to get more information about the ride.
  • All riders and machines must pass Tech Inspection.
Protective riding gear, including helmet, goggles, gloves, over-the-ankle boots, a long-sleeve shirt, and long pants are required to ride. Your motorcycle or ATV must be in reasonable mechanical working order, including brakes, tires, and a working kill-switch. A technical inspection will be performed on every bike and rider. Tech inspection opens at 8:00 AM so you can be ready to ride when the pee-wee track and trails open.
  • Minimum rider age is 6 years old.
Children must be at least 6 years old to ride. Riders under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult when on the woods trails.
  • Everyone entering the front gate must sign a liability waiver.
Parents must sign for any children entering the park. In addition, at the registration desk, parents must sign for each rider under age 18 or present a notarized release signed by both parents giving permission for the child to ride. Click here to download an event flyer.Click here for minor releases. If the parents are not present at the event to sign minor releases, the downloaded releases must be printed in color, signed by both parents, and notarized to be accepted.
  • Anyone riding a motorcycle or ATV on the premises must wear a helmet any time the vehicle is in motion, even in the parking lot.
  • No passengers are allowed on any off-road motorcycle or ATV.
  • No one under the age of 16 may operate a golf cart on the premises
  • No alcohol allowed on the property on Sunday
  • The Family Run Ride is a Sunday only event.
Free primitive camping will be allowed on the premises on Saturday night. The woods trails will be closed to the public on Saturday, so volunteers can prepare for the Family Fun Ride.
  • Use of the motocross track is not included in the activities of the Family Fun Trail Ride.
The motocross track will be open to the public as usual on Sunday. Anyone may pay the normal $20 fee to the facility owner, sign the separate liability waiver and ride on the track. This fee will be in addition to your donation to ride the Family Fun Trail Ride. The organizers of the Family Fun Trail Ride are not responsible for any activities on the motocross track.
